Echoes of Mexico celebrates the rich cultural tapestry of Colima\, Veracruz\, Oaxaca\, and Tabasco—regions known for their powerful rhythms\, colorful traditions\, and expressive footwork. \n  \nFrom the lively sones of Veracruz to the deep-rooted indigenous flair of Putla\, Oaxaca… from the tropical energy of Tabasco to the coastal spirit of Colima\, each region brings a unique voice to the stage. Join us as we honor the stories\, rhythms\, and steps passed down through generations in this powerful tribute to Mexico’s southern soul. Bailadores de Bronce was formed at the University of Washington in 1972 by a group of students as a product of the Civil Rights and Chicano movements. Bailadores de Bronce portrays the positive aspects of the Mexican culture in the broader community\, breaking down cultural barriers and building bridges within the community. All dancers\, instructors and the Board of Directors volunteer their time\, energy\, and efforts to ensure that Bailadores de Bronce continues to thrive. We always remember that it is the dancers themselves\, with their dedication and love of their culture and of each other as a family\, who are the glue that keeps Bailadores de Bronce together.
