45th Anniversary Kick Off Celebration

7 pm |February 24 |Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center (ECE) & Theatre University of Washington

Come join Bailadores de Bronce as we kick off our 45th Anniversary Celebration! On Friday, February 24th, we will unveil a new painting that celebrates Mexican culture and pride by world-renown Seattle painter, Alfredo Arreguín at at the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center, University of Washington.

Bailadores de Bronce, one of the oldest Mexican Folk Dance groups in the US. and a Seattle cultural treasure, is presenting Alma de Bronce, a performance celebrating its 45th Anniversary on June 24 at Meany Hall at the University of Washington. To commemorate the performance and pay tribute to Seattle's vibrant Mexican culture, Arreguín created a spectacular new piece of art. Arreguín has a long and distinguished list of accomplishments that features many awards, exhibitions in France, Mexico, Spain, and the US. Arreguín's works are included in many private and public collections, including the National Museum of American Art and the National Portrait Gallery.

THANK YOU to the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center at the University of Washington for sponsoring us donating their space for this event!
